Privacy

Your lists stay on this device. Names are never uploaded.

Kuji Spin has no accounts and no sign-up. We do not keep a copy of your lists on any server. This page explains exactly what stays on your device, what we count, and what we never collect.

What stays on your device

  • Your lists, results, history and settings (names, saved wheels, past results, theme, sound, wheel colors) are saved in your browser’s own storage on this device. Saved wheels and their results are in IndexedDB “ks-kujispin”, saved lists of the other tools in IndexedDB “ks-lists”, and settings, the last choices of each tool and their recent results in localStorage under names that start with “ks-”. They are not sent to us.
  • Another browser or device will not see them. If you clear this site’s data in your browser, they are deleted.
  • Giveaway picker: comments and usernames you paste are not saved unless you choose to save them. Usernames are masked in results by default.
  • A share link carries the list after the “#” in the link. Browsers do not send the part after “#” to any server, so the names do not reach us.
  • Anyone who has the link can open it and see the list. Share it only with people who should see it.
  • The share, stream and embed screens (/s/, /stream/, /embed/) load no visit counter.

What we count

We count how the site is used, without names and without tracking you.

Anonymous usage events

Some actions send a small anonymous note to our own server at kujispin.com (a Cloudflare Worker), which stores it in Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine. Each note contains only:

  • the action, from a fixed list: spin, wheel saved, share link created, share link opened, receipt made, present mode opened, stream screen loaded, embed loaded, export, error;
  • which page (for example “name-picker”) and the page language;
  • the site version;
  • one whole number, such as how many names are in the list;
  • for errors, a code from a fixed list (for example “storage blocked” or “offline”);
  • the browser family (for example Chrome or Safari) and the operating system family (for example Android or Windows), which our server reads from your browser’s standard description.

These notes never contain names or list content, titles, results, List IDs, anything you type, the page address or anything after “#” or “?”, or cookies. We do not store your IP address or your browser’s full description. A page sends at most 5 notes per visit. Previews and automated test browsers send none.

Visit counts

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and does not follow you across other sites. It is not loaded on the share, stream and embed screens. Cloudflare’s privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Hosting

Cloudflare hosts the site. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes your IP address and the request. We do not see or keep these IP addresses.

What we do not do

  • No sign-up and no accounts.
  • No cookies set by us.
  • No ads in this version, and no third-party ad or tracking code.
  • We do not sell or share data. We hold no personal data to sell.

If we ever add ads or anything that changes this page, we will update this page first.

Children

Kuji Spin is for a general audience. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. In practice we collect no personal information from anyone. In classrooms, the teacher uses it as an adult.

Deleting your data

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete. To remove everything Kuji Spin saved on a device, clear the site data for kujispin.com in your browser settings, or delete your saved wheels inside the tool.
